Total time 20min
INGREDIENTS
SALMON
- 4 (6 oz each) salmon filets
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp smoked or regular paprika
SAUCE
- 3 Tbsp butter
- 2 tsp olive oil
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup honey
- 3 Tbsp water
- 3 Tbsp soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp sriracha sauce
- 2 Tbsp lemon juice
INSTRUCTIONS
- Pat salmon dry before seasoning with salt, pepper, and paprika. Place aside. Adjust the oven rack to middle position, then pre-heat broiler.
- In a large oven-safe skillet, melt the butter and oil over medium-high heat. Once the butter has melted, add the garlic, water, soy sauce, sriracha, honey, and lemon juice and simmer for 30 seconds, or until the sauce is heated.
- Add the salmon, skin side down (if using salmon with skin) and cook for about 3 minutes. While salmon cooks, baste repeatedly with sauce from the pan by spooning it over the top of the salmon until the salmon is caramelized and cooked to the desired doneness.
- Garnish with chopped parsley.
